![]() In their early years of marriage, John and Barbara lived in Pittsburgh, then moved to Grafton, W.Va., to take over a sales territory. He then worked the remainder of his career with Dun and Bradstreet Corporation, where he retired in 1991 after 35 years. His first job out of college for two years in Pittsburgh was as a creative artist with a graphic arts company. He married Barbara (Langdon) in 1955 and had three children, John Keith, Susan, and Sandy. He attended Westminster College, where he majored in art and graduated in 1953. He was a star basketball player at Mercer High School. John attended Mercer High School and graduated in 1949. John lived his childhood on the South Side of Pittsburgh, and moved to Mercer as a teenager when his parents took over Perry Barbeque from his Uncle George and created Milan's Restaurant.
